Website design & build

Custom builds.Not themes.

A theme is a guess about a business it has never met. We start from what yours actually does, and hand the whole thing over in your name at the end.

Built around the business you actually run

Most small business websites are a template with a logo dropped in. They look fine and they say nothing — because the shape of the page was decided before anyone asked what the place is.

We start the other way round. A hundred-year-old tavern whose wings people drive an hour for needs a different first screen than a bar where something is on every night of the week. Both of those are real clients, and neither site would work for the other.

Fast on a phone, because that is where people are

Most people find you standing outside on a phone with two bars of signal. Every site we build is static HTML on a CDN — no page builder, no plugin stack, nothing that has to finish loading before your phone number shows up.

Pic-A-Lilli’s site loads in under a second on a phone in the parking lot. That is not a benchmark we went looking for; it is the condition most of their customers are actually in.

Yours outright, at the end

Domain in your name. Hosting in your account. Code in a repository you own. If you decide to work with someone else in two years, you hand them the keys rather than asking us for permission.

This is the first promise rather than the fine print because the alternative is so common. Plenty of small businesses only find out their site was rented, not owned, at the moment they try to leave.

A number before anything gets built

Most small business sites land between $800 and $2,000, depending on page count and how much custom design and animation you want. You get that number in writing, with a fixed list of what is included, before any work starts.

If the scope changes we talk about it first. There are no hourly surprises, because we do not bill by the hour.

Questions

Questions.

How long does a site take?

Most builds run 2–4 weeks from approved scope to launch. Faster if your content and photos are ready.

Do I own it?

Yes. Domain, hosting, and code are all in your name. If we part ways, everything stays with you.

Can I edit it myself?

Yes, for the parts you'll actually want to change — hours, menu, photos. We'll walk you through it.

I already have a website.

We'll look at it and tell you honestly whether it needs a rebuild or just fixes. Sometimes it's just fixes.

Fifteen minutes on the phone and you’ll know what it would cost.
